Colin Fisher April 2008

Colin Fisher  Managing Director

Colin Fisher founded Aquacell (formerly Clearwater Technology) in 1996. Colin has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering majoring in Biotechnology and over 20 years experience in process engineering and business management. Colin has been involved in water treatment projects in 20 countries including the world's first zero discharge pulp mill in Canada, and projects in 40 of the 50 states of USA including the first water recycling scheme in a sand quarry in California.

Colin spent six years based in the USA headquarters of a successful manufacturer of water treatment technology. He assisted that company to achieve 700 per cent growth in annual turnover during that time. Roles included operations management, process design, sales channel management and finally international business development.

In 2005, Colin was awarded "Entrepreneur of the Year" in the NSW Government's Western Sydney Business Awards.

Clearwater Technology was honoured with the highly competitive award for 'Excellence in Innovation' in the 2007 Western Sydney Industry Awards.

 

Michael Conciatore  Technical Sales Manager

Michael has a Bachelor of Science with a Pharmacology major (Hons) from The University of Sydney. Michael spent several years at Aquacell in the Projects, Operations and Regulatory areas of the company before graduating into Sales.  After a stint with a major pharmaceutical company, Michael returned to Aquacell to lead our sales team and help develop the US market.  

Our customers benefit from Michael's ground-up water recycling experience and in-depth knowledge of what it takes to implement a successful water recycling scheme when evaluating new opportunities.

 

Pat Coulton  Environmental Officer 

Patrick Coulton has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree and over 28 years experience in the water and waste water industry. Patrick has been involved in the operation and maintenance of water treatment plants in Australia, Switzerland and the USA.

Patrick has 8 years experience as an analytical chemist in Australia and 3 years in the USA. As an applications chemist for a polymer manufacturer specialising in solid liquid separations, he gained experience in a wide range of industries including; potable and municipal water treatment, mining, dredging and dairy farming to name a few.

During 11 years in Switzerland he was responsible for the daily operation of two water treatment plants and spearheaded the certification of a company for ISO 14001 where he was accountable for all compliance and documentation requirements for this certification.

Pat is responsible for meeting Aquacell's regulatory obligations, including negotiating approvals and maintaining compliance.

 

Phil Handley  Project and Operations Manager

Phillip is an experienced project manager and qualified hydraulic consultant, having delivered major infrastructure works on multiple construction projects for organisations such as ANSTO (Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation) and Harris-Page Associates, and for clients such as Grocon Constructors and Watpac.
