Aquacell is Australia's Own Solution to Water Shortages
Aquacell builds and operates water recycling plants around Australia for business, industry and government.
We were established in 1996 as an Australian-owned company and have conducted extensive research and development both locally and globally for over 15 years.
Our focus is on non-potable (non-drinking) water for use in a variety of applications including surface irrigation, clothes washing and toilets. We can develop greywater systems (i.e. water discharged from showers, baths, basins and washing machines) and blackwater systems (i.e. water that has been contaminated with water discharged from a toilet).
Our comprehensive service
Aquacell takes an integrated approach to water recycling plants including consulting, installation and project management for commercial and new residential developments. We also offer ongoing operations and maintenance agreements on our wastewater plants.
Our International presence
We have many years experience in the water industry and are very knowledgeable about each Australian state and territory’s regulatory requirements.
We were awarded the first combined private network and retailer’s license for water recycling by the NSW Department of Water under the Water Industry Competition Act 2006 (WICA). We also received Chief Executive approval from the Queensland Department of Infrastructure and Planning to build and operate greywater recycling plants for commercial and government projects in Queensland. Our state of the art technology is now being adopted in countries around the world.
